The narrative fidelity comes through in the speakers memories of that time and period in her life story. though many people of my age and time do not remember such things as the tire blimps or light hoods it is believable, and you can imagine it while the speaker explains it.



The narrative glueyness is there with the speaker congress from her very own memories of what the warfare was like and how different aspects of it affected her life and her familys life during those years of war, such as her Father and Mother telling her and her Brother to lay between two mattresses in the cellar and then her Father making her Mother, Brother and herself drive to Spokane, Washington where he felt it would be safer during the time of war. Although I had to rationalize out a part of the narrative, especially the part to do with her brother being torpedoed while in the Coast Guard, and the afterward effects of so, I feel like it would have added more more narrative coherence to the audio, but I had to regard as my interviewees request. And although this narrative fidelity may be somewhat out of date for the people who did not grow up during these time of war, many who did would probably greatly relate to this time in their lives and understand what it was to have to do things like this.
